Three working agents I built and shipped, each running on its own real schedule with real APIs.

Every one of them runs on a GitHub Actions schedule of its own, integrates with whichever APIs it needs (Claude, Gemini, Google Search Console, Meta Graph, Cloudinary), and writes its outputs back to its own repo so the whole history is auditable from day one. All three are open source under the MIT licence, so you're free to read the code, fork them, and run them yourself.

Clicking through to any of the agents below takes you to its GitHub repo, where the code, the system prompts, the workflow files, and the full setup guide all live together. The setup itself takes API keys and a bit of careful work, especially around Google Search Console and the Meta token process, which is why these are R&D pieces I built to learn what running a small autonomous team actually feels like in production rather than a polished SaaS product.

Alex SEO

A weekly SEO analyst for small businesses, who pulls Google Search Console every Wednesday morning and writes a single report covering rising queries, declining pages, ranking opportunities, CTR gaps, backlink targets, and forum threads worth a real human reply.

For example Last week brought 487 clicks from search, up 12% on the previous week, mostly because your 'how to clean a ceramic plant pot' post jumped from page three to page one for the query 'remove mineral deposits ceramic'. The page is sitting at position four with a 0.8% click-through rate though, which is bad, and the meta title is too generic, so try something like 'How to remove white residue from ceramic plant pots' instead. While we're here, the query 'ceramic plant pots for orchids' is sending you eighty impressions a week but you don't have a single page about orchids on the site, which is a quick blog post for next week.

Cleo Growth strategy

A Monday morning growth strategist for small businesses, who reads what happened last week, scans the web for what's happening outside, and writes a five-minute brief that decides the focus and the experiment for the week ahead. She's the friend who's been thinking about your business overnight and has one specific recommendation by the time you wake up.

For example Last week three of your four sales came from the newsletter rather than social, so stop pushing posts about new arrivals on Instagram (you're posting into a void) and send two newsletters this week instead of one. Mother's Day is also four weeks away and you don't have a campaign yet, which is your real focus this month.

Jess Social content

A daily Instagram agent for small businesses, who plans two posts every morning, generates the images through Gemini, and posts them as carousels at midday and evening.

For example At 08:30 Jess reads your brand voice file, picks today's two moments, writes a hook line for each, generates the watercolour scenes through Gemini, renders the hook cards in your brand colours, and uploads everything to Cloudinary. At midday she posts the first carousel and at six in the evening she posts the second, and you don't see any of her work unless something breaks. Two posts a day, seven hundred a year, all while you're doing everything else.
